In addition to the above, the school children have planted trees in honor of three soldiers whose names are on the school honor board, and who have fallen in battle, viz., J. Makeham, P. Makeham. and H. Mates.
Battalion numbers were put on the plates of all those whose numbers could he obtained. In other cases the committee will take steps to do so when the friends supply battalion numbers.
A fourth student is also mentioned in later articles, his name was George Frost who appears on the Honor Rolls under his adopted family name of "Hull".
