Welshpool's ANZAC's

This site is intended as a tribute to all the soldiers associated with Welshpool and provide high quality photo's of the memorials for people who may be researching family history and see the memorial to their family member.

 

There are many more soldiers associated with Welshpool (some born there) whose names do not appear on the Xenotaph or the Honor roll for one reason or another. I hope to eventually list them all on this site.

 

My resources are local memorials, honor rolls, Mapping our Anzacs Website, War Memorial in Canberra  and TROVE (a site of National Archives of Australia providing newspaper articles from the time).

 

I hope that people using this site who may have photo's or information to contribute to add to the memory of these soldiers will send them to the site via the contact page.
